I have taken some images of the locations that I am planning on using, however I am using google images for the bus stop and my house.
I went to the bridge where I am planning to have my actress walk under it and the location/environment looks like the location that was used in the Titanium video where the boy walks past the river/woods:
This is the location where I am planning to film parts of the actress' runaway, as this is an eerie environment which is concerning for a young girl to be walking through it alone. I will have her walk under the bridge into the greenery on the other side and I took some test footage to show what I am planning to do:
TEST FOOTAGE
You could see my shadow in the shot, which I didn't realise, however it is only test footage, so I will ensure this doesn't happen on the day - I'm pleased I tested it or else I may not have realised on the day! If it is that sunny when I come to film, I will just have to film more shots in front of Stephanie rather than behind her, so you can't see my shadow.
The lighting was terrible today, as it was really sunny, so it was hard to see the camera screen, however when I have uploaded footage and images onto my laptop, everything is absolutely fine, which is a bonus.
These are google-images of the bus-stop and my house which are my other locations:
Also during the run away part, where my actress is just wondering aimlessly, I have also taken some other location scouting images of places around Durham where I am planning on filming her walking through:
This is the bridge that I am planning on having my actress walk across after the bus scene and she will walk along until she finds the steps leading down to the river.
These are the steps that she will walk down and the next few images are of the surrounding scenery. I also want to film from the other side of the river, so I will go to the other side and film her walking along in an Extreme LS.
In terms of the rest of my location's, I have already tested out the woods during the summer when I filmed the rough version of my music video, which I have footage of to prove that it is a great location to film an eerie music video.
So these are the locations that I am planning on using. I have certainly managed to gather together a lot more research for this project, as I didn't take as many images for my previous AS piece. I have also used a top quality camera to take these images, showing how my technical skills and technology have advanced since AS.
