Currently
I am currently just about to start my evaluation package and already something has gone wrong! YouTube doesn't seem to be responding. I have just received this message when I tried to search for one of my music videos:
I will continue trying to troubleshoot this problem. But just as an update, I have planned out each question which is in the post above and I am starting to produce my evaluation.

More Feedback on all 3 Products
I have just received some more feedback on my email that I sent out with all 3 products on. The feedback on the advert is extremely detailed and they have offered a wide range of their opinions on it, which is great. Everything that they have picked up on I have accounted for in previous blog posts, where I have included my research, Research, and each decision that I made was based on the adverts that I have been influenced by and also how they related to my chosen genre of music.
Also, with the feedback on the digipak, I have also justified why the text is the way it is and why I made the choices that I did: Trials with text and Audience Feedback on Text. These blog posts explain why I made the choices with the text that I did and how I tried to brighten the text up to make it stand out more. I personally feel, and so does most of my target audience, that the effects that I added onto the text made the text stand out much more and that it worked particularly well.
The feedback on the video doesn't apply to my final piece video, as this feedback is on my rough cut video, Rough Cut.
All of the feedback in this email is extremely good for me to reflect on because I am able to justify my research within my decisions and make this clear to my target audience.
Email for the Wrong Video
The email above is the video that I have sent out to the people that I have received feedback from, so hopefully they will reply with the right feedback for this video.
Correct Final Piece
After realising that I had uploaded the wrong video, which I classed as my final piece, and sent it out to a range of people to receive feedback on it, I have now uploaded the right one to my vimeo account and this is it: Final Piece
I will now send out an email with this video on it!

Slight Problem
When I sent out my last email to try and gather more audience feedback, I sent out the wrong video. I actually sent out the rough cut, rather than the final piece.
So now, I am going to update my blog with the right version and also my vimeo account and send out another email with the correct video.

Changed Advert Due to 'Child-like' Image Feedback
After recieving the feedback on my album launch advert, I had a piece of feedback that suggested that the image was "child-like" and I should possibly change it for a "moodier" like image of an image of the artist performing; however the reason I chose the image that I did was because I wanted it to fit in with my research and this was a picture that I hadn't use before and it didn't relate to my CD or other advert in any other way and I took that style of image from Gabrielle Aplin, as her Album Launch advert had an image that didn't relate to her CD at all.
This was the feedback:
As you can see above, they suggest that I look "child-like"; however although Gabrielle doesn't smile within her advert, my artist has a different persona and personality, giving reasoning behind my choice of image.
This is the advert that I created previously:
As you can see, it relates to Gabrielle's advert:
As a result of the feedback that I recieved, this is what I have produced to see if it works:

So, as you can see from above, I have changed the advert to fit in with the audience feedback. I have used a "moodier" image, making the artist come across as less "child-like". I am not too keen on this advert, as I feel like the one that I have produced previously works much better as it fits in with my research, as the advert that I have just created above, I have already used the setting and a similar image within my CD and digipack, so that doesn't fit in with my research, as Gabrielle has used a seperate image that does not appear within any of her pieces and that is why my other advert links in better with my other pieces as the image that I have used doesn't appear in the other advert or CD/digipack.
Thus, overall I am going to stick with the advert that I have already produced, as the "child-like" feedback was one from one person, who possibly doesn't fit into the pop/rock target audience.

More Feedback
This feedback above prompted me to change the wording on the advert that included information for the '5 new tracks'. This is where audience feedback really comes in handy because fresh eyes are able to look at the advert and pick out any mistakes or changes that they would make.
The feedback above is more critical than some of the feedback that I have received; however it is good to hear what people really think rather than just replying with what they like. Although the feedback is critical, it is positive and they give me areas that they think should be improved and voice their opinion.
When they say they would choose a moodier image, I do agree in a way; however the image that I chose fits well with my research, as Gabrielle Aplin uses a different image that hasn't been shown within her album/digipak. Gabrielle's image isn't 'child-like',it's just not sexual/raunchy like other artists may have used, so this is why I chose to use the image that I did. I personally don't feel like it is 'child-like'; however as a result of this feedback, I will attempt to trial a different image and see how it looks; however the critisism is based on the launch advert of the album, rather than the advert promoting the album in shops, which was just an extra piece of work. I took the inspiration from Gabrielle's album launch poster here and I think the image that I have used does work well because it is a laid-back image, like the one that Gabrielle uses and it allows the audience to connect with the artist on a more personal level.
When they mention about false advertising, I haven't used false advertising because Taylor Swift's album was played pretty much non-stop when it was first released, so I again went off my research and focused what I knew about the artists and therefore used the same idea within my artist. So since the type of music that I researched is played on the radio by DJ's when it's released, yes I believe that my artists much would also be played.
Although they think that the CD design is 'busy', it relates to my research and I have adapted my product as a result of this and none of my other feedback has commented on this. I believe that the CD design that I have created fits my research extremely well and others agree.
As a result of this feedback, I have taken on board the critisism; however I know that what I have created is a result of what research I have carried out and none of the other members of my target audience have picked up on any of the features that that this person mentioned, so thus I am not particularly worried about this.
I will produce another advert with a different image in the background to see how it works.
Changes to Both Adverts After Receiving Audience Feedback
After receiving my audience feedback on my adverts, a few errors were picked up on and as a result of this, I have changed them both:
I have changed the bottom section slightly where there is information about the 5 new tracks that have been added, so that it makes more sense. Before I changed it, I had this:
"which another 5 featured tracks" doesn't make sense, so above, I have changed the sentence so that it makes sense. The feedback that I received about this is in the post above.
A mistake was also picked up on here, which was "hrard", there was a spelling mistake which I have changed to "heard". This is what it looked like previously:
These are the final adverts above, as they both have now been changed.

Next Steps
Well, after completing extensive research which has allowed me to create my 3 final products, I now need to complete my evaluation for them. Over the next week I am going to sit down and plan out each question in detail and I will blog my plan for each question.
For now, I am going to plan out my timescale for my evaluation, ensuring that everything is completed on time.
I will update you with my progress.
