Changed Advert Due to 'Child-like' Image Feedback

After recieving the feedback on my album launch advert, I had a piece of feedback that suggested that the image was "child-like" and I should possibly change it for a "moodier" like image of an image of the artist performing; however the reason I chose the image that I did was because I wanted it to fit in with my research and this was a picture that I hadn't use before and it didn't relate to my CD or other advert in any other way and I took that style of image from Gabrielle Aplin, as her Album Launch advert had an image that didn't relate to her CD at all.

This was the feedback:

As you can see above, they suggest that I look "child-like"; however although Gabrielle doesn't smile within her advert, my artist has a different persona and personality, giving  reasoning behind my choice of image.

This is the advert that I created previously:

As you can see, it relates to Gabrielle's advert:

As a result of the feedback that I recieved, this is what I have produced to see if it works:

So, as you can see from above, I have changed the advert to fit in with the audience feedback. I have used a "moodier" image, making the artist come across as less "child-like". I am not too keen on this advert, as I feel like the one that I have produced previously works much better as it fits in with my research, as the advert that I have just created above, I have already used the setting and a similar image within my CD and digipack, so that doesn't fit in with my research, as Gabrielle has used a seperate image that does not appear within any of her pieces and that is why my other advert links in better with my other pieces as the image that I have used doesn't appear in the other advert or CD/digipack.

Thus, overall I am going to stick with the advert that I have already produced, as the "child-like" feedback was one from one person, who possibly doesn't fit into the pop/rock target audience.
