Magazine Advert Analysis

It has been extremely hard to find actual inside magazine adverts, rather than front covers or stories about the artist, as the album that and artist that I am looking for isn't the 'next big thing' at this moment in time.

I bought Glamour magazine, as I saw that there was an article about Taylor Swift in there, however when I read it, there was nothing promoting the album, it was just an article about her as an artist, which was extremely annoying!

I have only been able to find two magazine adverts for my chosen artists and this is what I have done:

There are similarities between both of the adverts, as they use a completely different image of the artist for the background of the magazine advert, which I will be using for my magazine advert -  I will get some extra images taken just for the advert. They have also used the same text and typography for both the album and the advert and also an image of the album. There isn't actually any writing about the artist in these two adverts, which is interesting as that's what I thought would be most prominent in the advert, but apparently not. So, I will be using these two adverts as my template for my advert.
